The Park de l'île Melville buys and dismantles the Park D'arbre en Arbre St-Pacome and retrieves games in Shawinigan.
D'Arbre en Arbre Shawinigan expands its course Little Adventurers!
Escape into the treetops of towering pines at Melville Island Park on the Saint-Maurice River, just 1km from downtown across from the Cité de l'Énergie. Challenge your limits in a safe and fun way with 109 obstacles that get progressively more intense. Thrills guaranteed!
Three courses are for children, four are for juniors/adults and a zip lines courses will satisfy everybody between 2 and 85 years old!
The Squirrels Course for children allows them to play in the trees just like grown-ups but at a level that's not too scary! 13 new games of varying degrees of daring are guaranteed to raise goosebumps on your little squirrels. Despite the scaled down course, children wear safety harnesses just like adults.
From 7-8 years old, kids are allowed to access to two Little Adventurers courses.
Four courses for the juniors and adults provide exercices with perilous games and permit to reach heights.
A course composed only of zip lines for you thrill! YAHOUUUUUU!

GENERAL INFORMATION
DATES AND OPENING HOURS
Low Season: May 8 to June 23 and September 6 to October 31, only on reservation. Last departure: 4:00-5:00 pm. In Fall, it mays change with the sun set.
High Season: From June 24 to September 5 : 8:30 am to 7 pm on week end, and 9 am to 6 pm on week days.
REQUIREMENTS
- Participants must bring their water gourd and if possible, attached it to the carabiner;
- It is impossible to get out of the aerial course for dinner for example, and return to complete the activity;Les participants
- Children are under constant adult supervision (from the ground) for the Little squirrels and the Little adventurers courses.
- For the Little squirrels course, 1 adult from the ground to supervise 6 children.
All groups must present themself 30 to 45 minutes before there start time for the Treego course.
A piece of ID is required as a guarantee for equipment loaned to the participant.

Take Exit 211 off Autoroute 55, then Route 153, 1h30 from Montreal and Quebec City. Towards La Cité de l'Energie.

- Camping : Melville Island Campground is composed of 146 camp sites; 126 with water, electricity and fire pits. 20 tent sites are without services. Three restrooms with showers and a laundry room are at your disposal.
The campground is open from May to October.
Guests of the campground may use the swimming pool. There is a life guard on duty during the swimming season.

- Melville Island Inn : 12 rooms, on the banks of the majestic St-Maurice River, offers accommodations for 4 to 6 guests. Ideal for families. 6 rooms with a double bed and a twin bunk bed (2 twin beds) and 6 rooms with 3 twin bunk beds (6 places) A maximum of 60 guests can stay and enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the St-Maurice River.
SERVICES OFFERED:living room and fire place, fully-furnished kitchen and dining room, laundry room, separate bathrooms and showers (male and female), patio, parking, access to swimming pool, tennis court and playground.

School Groups :
For school groups, an adult must supervise students through each activity (2 adults for 20 youth);
You must complete the required forms, assemble your groups of 20 children and indicate the names of the 2 supervisors.
Other types of groups :
For receptions, office parties, family gatherings, corporate meetings, the Maison Boivert on Banana Island is an ideal location.
Your wedding, reception, party or meeting will be held in an inviting greenspace on Banana Island surrounded by the beautiful St. Maurice River. Completely renovated, the Maison Boisvert accommodates up to one hundred people.

Affordable, practical and comfortable, three meeting rooms are available for rent for any occasions...
At the Melville Island Inn which is open year round, you can relax in the warmth of a cozy fireplace after cross country skiing, snowshoeing, alpine skiing or tubing. The hostel combines the comfort of a living room with fireplace, a kitchen with dining room and 12 rooms of private accommodations.
The dining room can serve 40 people.
