It is the single largest tree plantation south of the St. Lawrence River. Although this forest is neither the oldest nor the largest in Quebec, its composition, its accessibility, its wildlife and the different aspects of forestry on display there make it an exceptional site.

A 7.5 km (nearly 5 mi.) asphalted stretch runs through Drummond Forest and along the Saint-François River.
